Central ND
Middle of ND here.

The big difference for us is population. But we only have a shank drill and not a disc drill so depth control isn't as precise. We did some last year at 180k with the seeder and 140k with the planter on 15" rows. No difference in yield. For the last probably 10 years or so now we have put all our beans through the planter on 15" rows. Some years we run no till into last years wheat stubble, other years we will run the air seeder ahead of the planter to apply fertilizer.
