Dryer years in EC Kansas narrower rows yield 1-3 bu better. Have never seen a yield reduction because of narrow rows unless major stand issue. Canopy for weed control is better on narrow. 15in planter gets better stand in minimum till and has more "push thru crust" than 7.5 in. Don't have a white mold issue here. 30 in rows almost guarentee 3 trips for weed control.
