Subject: RE: Cutterbar replacement...Sch easycut for me

I'll be changing mine this year to a Schumacher easy cut. I had this on my previous Gleaner 300 series head and now would like to replace my 520 head with Sch system. Little to no maintenance. The roller guides are a neat thing. Argis 2000 is the distributor in Ontario but any dealer can get em.

The only possible negative that some have is that they claim the Sch sits a little higher (at least on the Gleaner) so you have to tilt the head more and some guys have even turned the whole guard assembly upside down to get a closer cut.

You may want to check on the Combine forum to see what the Deere guys recommend.
