Go and do it. Heck, even if you don’t make the investment back you’ll always be able to say your an auctioneer. My Dad went to school in Billings MT and never was a big time auctioneer. He was the go to in the community for cake auctions, benefits and the like. It may not be a money making deal, but I bet you won’t regret learning something new. Go for it.
