| Blows me away that this crater could be discovered in the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico with 600m of sediment over it.
I worked 40 years in the stone business and learned all about blasting, crushing and screening stone. Sure wish I would have learned more about geology.
Our company geologist was sharp and always tried to share with us his knowledge. Interesting stuff.
I guess I always viewed geology as true history. It was left here for us and although there are probably a bunch of differing interpretations of it. It is truly real.
Just my opinion.
