do NOT mix brass & stainless-brass will eat stainless. Be aware that brass from China is unbelievably bad-as are steel pipe & fittings from China. There is still at least one US manufacturer of I.P.S. steel pipe, but I do not know how you can be sure to get US made product, EXCEPT big box stores have Chinese crap
