My ex is a bipolar alcoholic. So I know what you have been thru. Luckily I was able wait till the kids were grown before the divorce. It still has affected them though because they do not like having their parents divorced even though they dont have anything to do with their mother.
I dont like divorce but sometimes it's the only option left. Addiction and abuse would be good examples
