Probably more money, realistically.

My 50-year old neighbor just told me he makes as much money today as he did 20 years ago when the factory closed up. 20 years without much wage inflation. He’s a hard worker, dopendable, smart, not a complainer. Blue collar guy. Says his rule is he goes back to the hotel after 13 hours. That’s good Work ethic imho. His busy season is all year.

Now he’s on the road 4 or 5 days a week working a roving construction crew that does cell phone towers all across the Midwest, just the ground work not tower erection. He doesn’t climb. He’s the youngest on the crew, I think.

That’s crazy not to make more money than 20 years go with that work ethic.
