Buxton ND
Because this is what we came into that dry weather to start with AWESOME subsoil moisture for those roots to tap into. There NEVER was a drought if one looked at subsoil levels to start with. I originally posted the map shortly after June 7th. No one cared as they were in bullish feeding frenzy.

In a nut shell there were ALOT of folks that pushed a drought that NEVER was a drought. This was also backed up by weekly USDA crop condition reports tho as we all know the USDA was lying.

A early start with near to or ideal conditions with a strong root system to go get that subsoil moisture is the back bone of a great crop. EVERY farmer knows this full well,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, this was backed up by 2016 yields.............................

Some will say live and learn,,, my Gramma used to say learn from your mistakes.

Part of this is because of the drought talk on NAT already, other then 2012,,, drought talk IS NOT, I repeat IS NOT A MARKETING PLAN PERIOD.
