I have been trying to remember to list the actual source. Many articles are written by authors other than ZH authors.
Surely they can't be any worse than what is reported by the national media.
I list the stories for the ideas they contain. If you want ideas other than the narrative the powers that be want you to hear, you have to go to alternative sources.
If you only listen to what is on TV or in major newspapers, you are very likely to have heard something about it earlier on alternative media. If the major media simply can't ignore something they do not want to report any longer, then you will hear about it on major media.
