| Im working on getting ready to install tile using john deere rtk recievers for grade control and have only ever used lasers so i have some questions. First off the radios were swithched to 900 mhz for both the rover and base station and set the same as far as id numbers baud rate etc. My question is, the base station will be tripod mounted so for a given field should it not ever be moved in order to maintain the same ht. and position? Someone suggested to me to install a wooden fence post and mount the base there for the duration of the project. Also do i choose quick survey or the other option(cant remember what the other option is) with in the setup page on the deere rtk reciever? This is on a crary tile plow using AMW grade control pipe software. TIA Any other suggestions is greatly appreciated. | |
