Texas/New Mexico Stateline | I've never had influenza but some people seem to think the common cold is the "flu" which it isn't. Or say they have the flu when they don't. Apparently when you have the sure enough "flu" influenza there is no doubt as the symptoms are much worse and different from a cold.
Influenza can cause stomach ailments too, but you will have all the other symptoms like sore throat and cough, that you wouldn't have if you had food poisoning or a stomach virus.
