I don't know where this attitude comes from that ~any~ customer at the counter is more important than the one on the phone. I'm 200 miles from my nearest dealer. All of my business is done on the phone. But hey, with the pricing I'm getting from them lately I might start doing some internet shopping and take the gamble that I can win on the exchange and border fees... cause when I see 40-100% markup, no inventory and can't answer the damn phone let alone call me back... I'm not overly encouraged to bother wasting my time.
I ordered a belt locally for a machine I have... it's 2 weeks tomorrow I think. It was going to be 30 odd bucks plus 30 bucks freight. I ordered 5 from the an online outfit in Indy... landed here for 70 bucks in 7 days. I still haven't heard about the one I ordered locally... and I'm losing the inclination to care anymore.
