Texas/New Mexico Stateline | I definitely would not run it with it roaming around in there. Since it is splash lubed and on a bouncy application on a tiller I could sure see it throwing it around and it ending up in the cam gears.
Just another suggestion I might try a small flexible hose that will go down through the oil filler, or even from the top of the engine where it fell in the first place. Adapt it to a shop vac. hose with tape/whatever. Run the hose down to the crank case and turn on the vacuum. Wobble it around and maybe suck it out. |
