SC KS
So....

I rented a piece of ground last year. 60 ac in a large patch. Another field is 10-12 acres in 4 different corrals. Like most corrals, not square. Fenced by pipe and sucker rod. My landlord farmed with and only with a 12 ft krause disc and ih end wheel drill. Gates are just big enough for his equipment. Soil is in horrible condition due to lack of rotation and over tilled. Cherry on the cake.... houses around them, 1 being LL's. With harder to kill weeds needing dicamba for most everything, drift on small patches scares me. So I want to put to alfalfa. But am nervous because the corrals have had countless cattle and mixed feed in them. Pigweeds are horrific. Fields are also bowled some because of decades of working round and round and round and rou... I don't want RR hay. Btw lighter but variable soils. And faLL planting

My question(s) for you all is

what are your thoughts about plowing the corrals i can plow so I can level and bury current pigweed pop?

And trifulan pre and if pigweeds still come this fall 1.44 oz pursuit?
