| I will be graduating from the University of Illinois in May 2017 with a bachelors degree in Ag Business Markets & Management. I would like to come back to my family's centennial farm and be the fourth generation farmer. I know with low commodity prices, it will be challenging to start farming. My dad farmed through the 80's and never had an unprofitable year. My family is financially secure, and with their help and my education, I believe I can have a successful farming career. Like all young farmers, the problem I have is finding land to farm. Does anybody have any suggestions on finding farmers who are thinking about retiring soon? Is anybody on this site from East Central Illinois thinking about retiring? If so, please contact me.
