Subject: IHC 3-point Semi Quick Hitch

The IHC and I think CaseIH 3-point hookup on some row crop cultivators and
semi-mount planters. Also could have been used on other things.
As in the picture below.

The cross bar is mounted on the tractor.
Then the tractor operator backs the tractor so the cross bar is under the implement hitch. Raises the 3-point a bit and then gets off the tractor to put in a couple pins.

First off was the cross bar available in both Cat 2 and Cat 3?

Second is it as handy as I seem to think it would be?

I have real problems with 3-point quick couplers as you see on many tractors.

They move the implement to the rear. Takes more ump to lift the further to the rear the load is.

And my biggest complaint about 3-point quick couplers. They are so darn much in the way.
Makes it harder to hook up hydraulic hoses and do about anything at the rear of a tractor.

I have three quick couplers, and will use them. But they come off the tractor right after the 3-point machine is removed.
Stay off until needed again.
