Dave,
Have a set of them. Oliver 1650.

Northern Tool in Des Moines

http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200280824_200280824

The link is the Cat 2 model. There is a Cat 1, only about $5- cheaper.

They do work pretty slick. But then I have only used them on one implement.
A two rotor cutter.

First off they required a great deal of prep work on the 3-point arms. Lot of grinding. Lots!
This may be a Oliver deal.

There is a optional spreader bar. Keeps the two arms the correct distance apart.
Looked at the pictures and made my own spreader bar.

As I said, hookup is easy. Just back under the pins. Raise the 3-point a bit and it is on.
Remove the spreader bar.

On my cutter, hook up the PTO shaft.

But a problem - They move the hitch point to the rear. Does not look like much, but it really cut down on my lifting ability. In fact my 1650 can hardly lift the cutter. Front end also light.
Lifted and carried the cutter find before.

I now run the cutter without the top link. Carry weight on the rear castering wheels.
Take it slow if on the road.

The Oliver open top latch system that came out with the 1800 was great. That is if equipped with the guides mounted on the plow or whatever you were hooking to.
Funneled the arms to the right place.

The Oliver open latch deal on just a set of balls on the pins just does not seem to work well for me.
But I do think a spreader bar type deal would help things a lot. Need to make one.

Pictures:
Top pic - Pat's Hitch as received - 2453

Second pic - A great deal of grinding had to be done to get the tractor's lower arms into the deals. - 2456

Third pic - And grinding on the top latch deal. Over center lock down deal removed. In place the top deal cannot come up. - 2359

Pic #4 - Deal in place. The U-bolt and set screws on the side holds them in solid. - 2461

Pic #5 - My home made spreader bar - 2471

Last picture - Hooking up. This is a trial run, PTO not hooked up. I do hook up the PTO before backing the tractor all the way back for the 3-point hookup. 2472

Other than the 'Can't Lift the Cutter' problem, I like them.
Sure a lot easier to hook up a PTO shaft than with a quick coupler in the way.
