| Put a used 653 Allison transmission in my very old mid 80 s feed truck. The old one was slipping horribly and getting hot. Got it all hooked up late yesterday afternoon fired it up and nothing. I took the pto plate off and it's turning but it doesn't seem to do anything when you move the gear selector. Just looking for any ideas on what to try while I wait for the salvage yard I bought it from to look for another one. My best bet would be to just find another truck and move the box over but getting to close to Christmas to get that done quickly. Thanks for now boys | |
