My laptop is dead.   I push the power button, I hear the fan run.  Then nothing.  The power light stays on but nothing comes on the screen.  If I hold the power button down for a very long time it still doesn't shut down.  

I've pulled the battery and pulled the power cord to shut it off.

I've pulled the memory and reseated it.  I've pulled the HD and reseated it.  I took off all the USB flash drives.  Zip response.
