Subject: Deere 4440 Tractor Circuit Breaker question

West-Central Missouri
I have a Deere 4440 tractor here. When I am running the field lights on bright, it will trip the breaker for the inside front and top rear flood lamps. My meter shows 16 amps going through that 30 amp breaker with lights on bright.

Would 16 amps trip a 30 amp breaker? I believe I have changed that breaker before and it still trips. That breaker gets very hot also, like too hot to touch.
Does Deere make a 40 amp breaker?

Thanks,

Greg
