WRONG approach.........consider spending money on adapted genetics instead
I understand your thoughts and that is certainly a direction to go but I am talking about wide open bermudagrass pastures without a tree, brush or gully for them to find any shade in. With our heat and humidity it sucks pounds right off everything short of brahma which would lose you twice as much come time to sell. I just started my herd this year and like Puff I am ballin on a budget, that said I have added some good mamas to the herd than conveniently have heifer calves that I plan to retain.
What genetics would you suggest that are well suited for high heat and humidity in the SE? |
