We grow hybrid rye. Fungicides are not recommended here, because rye generally doesn't get much for disease. Our irrigated rye generally yields 120-160 bu/ac without fungicide. Some fungicides will affect the viability of the pollen and reduce seed set along with increasing ergot levels.
