I think you'll be fine. We have lots of guys here that plant rye as a cover crop, they generally aren't thinking about that when applying the pre's. Haven't had any train wrecks that I'm aware of. The metribuzin doesn't last long at all and neither a.i. in the authority first has great grass activity.
