I have done Corn Mazes in GK Technology Inc Ag Data Mapping Solution for PP monitors. I have also done many 1000's of acres for VR seed and fertilizer maps with no apply areas. They are a merged interior and exterior boundary. A waterway would just be a very simple maze. You will also want to make sure you out of boundary rate is set to 0.
