gene_champ - 5/9/2021 02:54 I have the Milwaukee m18 chainsaw. I like it. But when cutting smaller branches the chain had a tendency to come off. None of my small gas saws to this. Very frustrating as it takes time to get it back on and tensioned. If your lucky you remembered to bring the wrench for the bar. I see the Milwaukee ad now boasts of a chain that is less likely to come off. I wonder if it is noticeably better. If so, I wonder if can upgrade mine.

I swapped the original .043 bar on our M18 to an Oregon .050 bar and chain.  It's a noticeable improvement in how often it throws the chain.
