NW IA | I got that to work once. Had to go at a hard angle to the rows, fairly deep and fast.
I thought it looked good, but what a deep pile of fluff to plant into!
I did it because I had hauled manure in that field and the weeds were coming on strong.
Now I just plant no-till and hit it hard with burn-down along with the pre
My TM struggles in bean stubble (and straw, no chopper on my old 1620).
I think this year has been worse since it has been so cold and dry that no residue degraded prior to field work. | |
