Monroe City, MO | Could it have been because I was driving a 1970 IH 1456 pulling a 4 row JD 7000 most of the afternoon?
We had left about 14 acres unplanted because of wet conditions and the planter was 10 miles away today when the ground was dry enough today to plant, and with rain in the forecast, I decided to have a little fun today. I spent the better part of the afternoon doing it old school. No worries about thrown codes, losing GPS signals or any other of the many nuances of modern equipment. Sometimes the old way, even if it isn't necessarily better, is certainly enjoyable. At least when you get to my age.
