Jorn - 5/8/2021 08:08 Rusty6, thanks for your always interesting videos and comments. 22 CAN/bushel sounds pretty wild to me. Where does the oil go, human consumption or bio-diesel? Farmers here are selling what little, if any, they have left of winter rape for around 18 CAN/bu. 2021 harvest can be sold for the same right now. Fields are blooming up now, seems they look more golden than ever.

Thanks for your comments Jorn. The price is definitely a historic high for us. I don't know if anybody wants to lock in a price for this year's crop now because at this point it does not look like much chance of getting one. Dry conditions continue with no rain in sight. Just wind and cold. I doubt there has been much canola planted yet but it is still early.
