East Central wisconsin | I would say so, yes. It does have a 4 stage boom instead of a 3 stage. So I suppose that could be something to keep an eye on. The extra reach is nice. But the 10042 will out lift it in dead weight. Also it will only boom out to the 42' range unless the outriggers are down and have pressure on them. As in everything just have to assess its current condition. Good luck.
I will add, I have had customers tell me it would go through more mud than the 6036. Because of the larger tires.
