I'm starting to feel like what I contracted already is a low price. But if we get a better then average crop I feel the prices will drop a lot too.
Inflation is going to drive prices up. You can’t pump 5-6 trillion dollars out in cash and not expect inflation. That amount by the way was almost 1/3 of the working national debt and way beyond what can be recouped in taxes.
I wouldn’t be surprised if there is run away inflation that occurs over the next couple years. The cost of everything is going to jump. Inputs are going to be the big shocker this fall and next spring when they need to be purchased again. It would be very wise for one to buy/contract next years inputs now. |
