Looks like it's still a little on the "sticky" side but if you can get it covered decent all that moisture will be great to have about July! That practice would very seldom ever work in NEMO, I've tried, 9 out of 10 years it would stay so wet you would be planting in mud. I'm gonna look up Pond Creek to see where it is.
