Nw Iowa | That looks painful. Our electrician who farms in our area, just told us yesterday that he was kind of a 1 man show after his dad who is very healthy and fit , fell off tender trailer backwards as I understand and literally broke his neck. He said he tried to work the rest of the day and than when to a chiropractor the next morning who told him he had better get to medical help quick, went to doctor, I believe he was air lifted to Rochester, did surgery on his neck. According to his son, doc told his dad that he was very, very lucky as it was so close to brain stem that a wrong move would have killed him. We all fear major auto wrecks or falling off a bin etc, but highest risk are things we do everyday. Son said that trailer was no higher than a pickup tailgate. | |
