I am struggling to on decisions for corn heads. I have a 1083 that literally has 83 acres on it after a complete rebuild by Don king in MO that fit my 1680. I upgraded combines to an 8010 and am trying to decide on modifying my 1083 to fit my 8010, purchasing a used corn head. I can modify the header myself or take it back to don King for $2500 to fit. If used, I am not sure whats what - 2208, drago, geringhoff, etc. A new header is out of the question until we have a good year or two.
