Put fuses in them, the front lights will stay on then. It's a EU thing they are shipped from the factory without them installed. It talks about them in the book, but not in the fuse section.
Edit- i should say this is for the previous series 8600 and D series, It's SH1 and SH2.
I don't have the info on the later series.
