Southeast Washington | If the price is right it could be a good one. Haven't really looked to replace our Cat engine tractors. The old school mechanics at the Challenger dealership said to avoid and that is what I've done so far. With a short build time with that engine in them good or bad think about parts availability down the road. Remember two banks on the engine with primary and secondary turbos and they all need to work in harmony with each other.
We have had the 6 and 7 cylinder Sisu engines in our combines and have had decent experience. Only one 7 cylinder engine was replaced due to the excessive oil use. The others have been great and far more torque than the 6 cylinder engine. | |
