WCIN | Close to 50% of all the twins I’ve calved, both been DOA. Out of that dozen or so alive only one pair made it to weaning on the cow without being grafted out or bottle fed, that cow was never the same after that and keeled over dead couple years later. Was it because of the twins? Who knows but it sure didn’t help her.
Twins might be a blessing for some but I’d just soon have one calf per cow, thanks | |
