Boone Co. Iowa | I think planting numbers in Iowa going to be huge today after market closed. A couple local farmers who tend to be a little slower planting, due to livestock chores, told me they are finished with corn. Higher prices doing their job to get folks to raise a bigger crop.
Got 1.5 inch rain last night and saw a couple fields of corn emerging today.
Won't solve our moisture shortage but will help us get season started.... | |
