It's amazing to me how far behind Ontario is when it comes to spring green-up. Doesn't seem like it's that much farther North compared to Southern Pa, but I guess it amounts to more than one would think


We moved to about six miles North of Greencastle, Pa. in 1979 from be-tween "Harpers Ferry" and "Charlestown, WVa. It's about 54 miles road wise. Was working and planting up here that Spring in April & May and noticed real soon that there was at least a full weeks difference in seasons in 54 road miles from there to here.






Yep, I believe that. I get through that area at least three times a week.
