Mather, Manitoba | Your wheat emerged yet? It's been cold, ground as well, so we just started on Saturday. Canola or soybeans doesnt do well in cold soil. Probably wait until last half of May.
It was -9C on Friday morning in Carman. Coldest in S MB.
Neighbor dug out a rock on wheat stubble on Thursday. Found frost 8 inches down.
