Exactly. I never did get that figured out. But being a guy that bleeds red, I never wanted to spend much time figuring it out.
Sure beats those two floppy gear grinding levers on the IH tractors of that vintage!!
The steering and hydraulic systems on those IH tractors were subpar as well. I never cared for the 06 thru 86 series IH tractors.
