cflory - 5/2/2021 19:34 It's funny to me when I hear you guys say "watch out for bloat" with oats. Oats grown around here are so poor we used them straight so they wouldn't bloat in creep feeders when my grandpa was around. He always said they were the perfect feed for calves.


We feed them straight as well.  Bought a gravity wagon full at $5/bushel to plant spring forage to roll up as hay.  Had couple ton left and started feeding to the herd bulls.  They love them.  Helps with libido....so I'm told....:
