eastern colorado | AFS 700 loss of communication from receiver, cycle power it comes back up normal. Tech sent receiver to Des Moines where it was cleaned, flashed, tested OK. Put a new harness to receiver on this morning.
Failed again in 10 minutes idling in the yard. Cycled power been sitting with the key on not running for 3 hours still connected. Tech wants to blame chassis harness. Wonder if this isn't a case where the shop can't detect problem but it fails with higher or fluctuating power in the field. I'm obviously grasping for any clue at this point. | |
