Central Texas | We made our way across Iowa today. We ended up taking US 30 all the way. It wasn’t bad at all. I noticed Iowa towns love traffic lights, it seemed every town we went through had at least 3 or 4 lights. A good bit of 30 was a four lane divided hiway so it was nice. There were parts of 30 that weren’t exactly smooth, but it wasn’t terrible. Saw a lot of nice farmland, sure seemed lots of it was pretty dry, lots of dust when guys were in the field. Hats off to the farmers who farm in the Denison and Dunlap area, I don’t think I could do it. I appreciate all the suggestions everyone gave me, maybe we’ll be back and try a different part of your fine state in the future. | |
