| I keep hearing that Brazil’s second crop corn is in trouble. We’ve been hearing this for 3 weeks. They are “waiting” on rains that are still not forecasted. I don’t know where everyone on here farms, but where I’m from there is a major 10 day window ( first 2 weeks of July) that is very very weather dependent. You either get it or you don’t in that window. It’s make or break. Where do they get the concept that their corn can be severely damaged from heat/drought for 4 weeks and just pause it’s life until the next rain?
Personally, from the sources I talk to.....their crop is bad and getting worse by the hour. The market is trying to not reveal this or not believing it. July/Dec corn highs will get taken out.....potentially higher than anyone can imagine. | |
