I have one on my wife's Dell - but it's a Linksys G. No problems with it so far and she gets good performance with it - even on streaming video which is heavily dependent on bandwidth. The computer sits in the next room over from the location of the router however.
You might get better performance out of a card in an expansion slot - with an antenna on it.
