I wonder if the Zionsville club is the same group that used to fly sailplanes out of Sheridan?  We used to hang out at Sheridan a lot in the early days.  Charlie Beene was the Airframe and Engine mechanic there who did a lot of work for us.  Charlie replaced a jug on my Franklin 150 in the Stinson and was pretty well known around the area.  Maybe you've heard of him? 

That was a heck'ova great bunch of pilots back then -  I look back at those days – Glory Days – and now most of the guys we flew with are all gone. Great memories.  :-)
