Friend bought a 1957 335 tractor a year ago. Got it running again and once he got the carb fixed it has been running well until few weeks ago when driving it started loosing power. Finally quit. Wouldn't restart. Found antifreeze in the crankcase. So he has pulled the heads looking for bad head gasket. They look okay. Heads were checked and are flat, can't see anything how antifreeze got into crankcase. He has new head gaskets and is ready to put back together, but told him I'd see what you guys think. It looks to me water only goes into head and I'd guess you would call it the block where pistons are and no where else. I've never been around one of these. Very simple looking tractor. I still thinking head gasket is the cause. Forgot to say that no white smoke or any kind of smoke out the exhaust when this happened. Thanks.
