I did something similar some years ago, when corn was high.
Was waiting for $7 cash, I checked and it was $6.95 cash and didn't sell.
Then, it started going down, and the elevators wouldn't give me a bid.
Wound up selling it for $5.75
Granted, it was just the last 1500 bu or so of my last bin, but it was a lesson I still remember.
Does this make sense to a few?
