South west of Winnipeg MB | We had a hard frost last spring just as the wife's apple trees were starting to bloom. Didn't seem to hurt the tree but only had one apple. She watched that apple all summer almost ready and then a deer eat it. Will see how they produce this year or at lest how they bloom. We have been well below normal temperature and moisture all spring. Had a good sized dump of snow a couple weeks ago was out check the wheat we seeded yesterday before the snow and didn't add much moisture. |
